


I was so excited to find a giant granny in such great shape(it did smell like moth balls...it's acrylic though..lol..I had to wash it twice), it's not the softest but oh well. I only paid 8.95 for it! I figure if I can't recruit anyone into making me something(isn't that why you teach people to knit or crochet? haha...jk) this is the closest I'll get to having something handmade that I didn't make myself:)

A great find...and I love your painted trunk. If you really want a big grannie square blanket in your favourite colours (I see we both like green) I would make you one...we could make it a swap? :0)
I love all the blankets you keep finding. I also found a lot of afghans at thrift stores many hardly used AT ALL! At least now they have a loving home since they were likely not appreciated by the original receiver.
